Biomass Systems
How it Works
Unlike traditional wood burning stoves, today's technologically advanced Biomass Heat Systems have been designed to extract, utilise and store optimal levels of energy from wood or wood-based products.
The three main types of Biomass heating systems are:
Wood Pellet Boilers which are fuelled by commercially produced pellets composed of compressed wood shavings and sawdust.
Wood Chip Boilers which are fuelled by wood chips. These are available commercially or can be produced privately using a wood chipper.
Log Boilers which are fuelled by large logs and/or any available waste wood.
A combination of features within the Froling range of Biomass systems which Powertech supply, combine to ensure an economical, efficient and effective heat solution, which provides an assured, controlled supply of hot water and space heating .
Many sophisticated and innovative features are incorporated within the fuel feed, burner, combustion chamber, heat recovery, airflow and control systems of the Froling burner, all ensuring optimal levels of heat being generated.
The effective storage of that heat is aided by the inclusion of a buffer tank, whilst the reduced ash from highly efficient combustion needs only occasional disposal
